He is also the President of Biggs & Associates serving high value sports professionals and franchises as a brand and messaging strategist. His distinguished client list includes Heisman Trophy winners, NFL HOFers, NBA champions, Olympians, and many of the top teams in college and professional sports. Bill is a Phi Kappa Phi graduate of Texas A&M University with a M.Ed in Educational Psychology and completed his executive training through the CORe program at Harvard Business School. He lives in College Station, Texas, with his beautiful wife, two sons, and a herd of dogs.

Attorney Devan Byrd is a fierce advocate for justice who has helped recover over $63 million for her clients in nursing home, medical malpractice, as well as other catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. Her strategic approach to case development, particularly in medical malpractice and catastrophic injury cases, has led to multiple seven-figure verdicts and consistently successful outcomes for clients across Alabama. Beyond her legal practice, Devan serves as President of the Alabama State Bar Young Lawyers Section and holds board positions with several community organizations, including the Alabama Head Injury Foundation and Alabama Civil Justice Foundation. Eric T. Chaffin is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Chaffin Luhana LLP, an Inc. 5000-ranked plaintiffs’ law firm with a national footprint in personal injury, product liability, and mass tort litigation. As Managing Partner, he shapes the firm’s business strategy, financial direction, and growth vision, while continuing to serve as lead trial counsel in high-impact cases across the country.

Over the course of his career, Eric has helped recover billions of dollars for individuals and families harmed by dangerous products, environmental hazards, and corporate misconduct. He has held court-appointed leadership roles in major federal and state multidistrict litigations and has successfully litigated against some of the world’s most powerful corporations. His legal work includes significant trial and appellate advocacy before U.S. Courts of Appeals and multiple state appellate courts.

Eric began his career as a corporate defense lawyer at a large international law firm before serving as a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New York. There, he built complex cases against criminal enterprises and corporations—a foundation that now informs his strategic approach to advocating for plaintiffs. That prosecutorial mindset—methodical, forward-thinking, and grounded in storytelling—continues to guide his work on behalf of injured clients.

A regular invited speaker on the business of law, Eric presents internationally on topics such as law firm finance, culture, strategic recruiting, and the evolving legal landscape. He also drives the firm’s innovation vision, including its early adoption of artificial intelligence, litigation finance strategies, and systems to support scalable, client-first legal service.

Raised in a blue-collar community outside of Pittsburgh, Eric was the first in his family to attend college. The son of a steelworker, he brings humility and empathy to each case and every client relationship. He is a graduate of the Gerry Spence Method and an active student of psychodrama and narrative advocacy to help uncover the emotional truths that drive compelling trial stories.

When he’s not leading trial teams or building the firm of the future, Eric can be found with his family, volunteering, or competing in endurance sports. He is a former Ironman All World Athlete and an avid cyclist, runner, and skier.

Joe is currently a partner at Thomson Reuters Ventures, a $100M corporate venture fund where he leads a team of global investors. Joe has held a variety of strategy, finance, and product roles over his 15-year career. He has led M&A deals valued in the hundreds of millions, driven strategy for multi-billion-dollar organizations, and helped scale high growth software products. As an investor Joe specializes in machine learning, automation and enterprise SaaS startups. Previously, he led corporate strategy for Thomson Reuters Legal Tech business. Joe is also active in the New York tech scene where he works with several incubators and early-stage startups as an advisor. He started his career at a data tech startup where he discovered his passion for the world of venture capital. Joe has a B.A. in Political Science from Siena College and an MBA in Finance and Management from Fordham Gabelli School of Business

Since then, her breaking news and features have been cited by Adweek, DealBook, the Financial Times, Fortune, and TechCrunch. Her writing has also been published in The San Francisco Chronicle.

Eric Sanchez is the Managing Partner of Maestro Strategic Partners, where he leverages 20+ years of leadership and direct, operational experience helping plaintiffs' firms nationwide—from boutique litigation groups to high-volume practices. His own experience is marked by historic achievements: his pivotal, data-driven work on the $1.25 billion In re Black Farmers Discrimination Litigation settlement was cited by the court and earned him a White House invitation. A proven innovator, he founded and exited a case management company and holds over 30 patents. He is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, co-author of Invested Leadership, and holds an M.A. from Northwestern University.

Josh Sanford has built his career on helping people, becoming a trusted advocate for clients nationwide in employment law, consumer protection, data privacy, and more. Known for his creative strategies and tireless energy, he quickly gained a reputation for excellence. As a founding partner of EKSM and former leader of the most prolific FLSA law firm in the country, Josh has represented clients from tipped workers to victims of some of the largest data breaches in the nation, securing over 200 class certifications in 20 states. Jay Stefani is the Managing Partner at Levinson and Stefani Injury Lawyers, a Chicago-based boutique firm helping victims of truck and automobile crashes. He is active member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association (ITLA) and the American Association for Justice (AAJ), where he currently serves as Membership Liaison of the Motor Vehicle Section, and is a past Chair of the Sole Practitioner & Small Firm Section. He also serves on AAJ’s Law School Committee.
